Built on relationships
Pirirākau brings together local leadership, land, infrastructure and a shared commitment to new homes for Ōpōtiki.
A shared vision, made real
The success of a development is found in the relationships between its stakeholders.
Ōpōtiki District Council, local iwi, Whakatōhea and Generation Homes have been part of the Pirirākau journey from the start, investing in the future of the town and helping unlock land for new homes.
Pirirākau is a name gifted by Whakatōhea. It speaks to unity and strength: a cluster of trees standing close together, looking after one another as whānau.
